BEDDING
We supply a blanket and a mattress cover. It is requested that these be taken home every Friday to be washed and then returned on Monday. Extra mattress covers can be purchased from the office at R130 each.
CAR PARK
We have a “DROP AND GO” in the carpark from 06:30 – 08:00. It is requested that you drive all the way to the end of the carpark closest to the exit. Our staff will then take your child out of your car for you. Please do not drive into the school via the exit!.
CLOTHING/BAGS
Bags and all items of clothing from home (especially shoes) need to be clearly marked. A change of clothing and a jersey must be sent to school EVERY DAY. In summer sunblock to be applied before children come to school and a sun hat provided.
COMMUNICATION
Our means of communication is WhatsApp. You will be added to our WhatsApp mailing list in order to receive photos, activities, information and reminders pertaining to your child’s class. Please save our cell phone number in your phonebook in order for you to receive our messages. Meetings to be directed through Maddie.

EXTRA MURALS
Maylill offers a diverse and exciting range of extra-mural activities. These include: Swimming, Computer lessons, Beaux Arts, Playball, Play This Way, Harmony Hippo’s and Soccer Starz. Pamphlets and prices can be obtained from the office upon your request. All correspondence and fees to be directed to the extra mural and not Maylill.
FEES
Enrolment fee R800 per child, which includes a welcome pack that consists of a blanket and mattress cover. School fees are R3 255 per child, due by the 1st of each month, in advance, for 12 months. No additional costs are required during the year.
HOURS
School opens at 06:30 and closes at 18:00 (Monday – Friday, January – December). Please notify the office if you are running late. Persistent latecomers will be fined. All children are to be at school by 08:00 daily.
MEALS
Children are provided with nutritious cooked meals. We serve breakfast, lunch and snacks. Our food is healthy and child friendly. Breakfast is served to the Junior Division only (0 months – 3 years) from 7:30-8:00. Junior and Senior Division: Mid-morning snack, cooked lunch and afternoon snack. No food is to be sent to school, including sweets. No special meals are provided for.
MEDICAL
Medicine is not allowed to be administered to any child by a staff member unless permission from the parent is obtained. Medicine to be clearly marked, with the correct instructions. No medicine is to be left in children’s bags. Contagious and communicable diseases e.g. ringworm, lice, measles etc. need to be cleared by a doctor before the child will be allowed to return to school. This is a Health Department ruling. Please call the office to advise us if your child will not be attending school.
SECURITY
Safety and security is a high priority at Maylill. We have 2 coded security gates and a guard on duty at the gate. Our premises are monitored by 16 CCTV cameras. SOS our armed response company is on call 24 hours. Only parents will be permitted to collect their children from school. If any other person will be collecting your child, a permission form MUST be completed the day before. ID must accompany the form and be produced at the office.

We have various private transport companies that offer their services at Maylill.
