Sea Class (Junior 2)

Learning Areas:
We develop the children holistically. They are introduced to various activities that let them explore all their senses and movement of their bodies. In this class the children learn very important life skills, such as listening, sharing and trust. Children are taught how to socially start interacting and becoming independent. Fine motor skills are part of the daily programme e.g. painting and threading. Colours and shapes are introduced in various mediums. Outdoor play is increased allowing the children to explore and develop gross motor skills. Potty training is started in this class. The class is equipped with small toilets to encourage the children. We help them become independent and to interact socially in a loving and caring environment. A junior daily programme is followed. Weekly preparation is done by the teacher based on the theme of the week and approved by the H.O.D
