Learning Areas:
This is the second senior division class, grade 00. Children are taught to be responsible, respectful and independent. They are exposed to many different learning activities and skills. Simple instructions are taught. Children are taught to recognise their name, some colours, shapes and numbers. They should be able to concentrate for the duration of a short story or language discussion. Children are encouraged to express themselves through verbalising their thoughts, using body language, singing and drama. Senior daily programme is followed. Weekly preparation is done by the teacher based on the theme of the week and approved by the H.O.D.
