Learning Areas:
Children have age appropriate activities in order for them to reach their milestones. They are introduced to different tactile, creative and sensory activities such as painting and scribbling. They start to develop their fine and gross motor skills. Children are exposed to music, dancing, rhymes and stories, puppet shows etc. which develops their listening and hearing skills. Gross motor is introduced in the class by means of various equipment. Children are encouraged to sit, crawl and learn to walk. Ideally the aim is to develop each child to gain independence and confidence. A daily programme is followed. Weekly preparation is done by the teacher based on the theme of the week and approved by the H.O.D.
